This remodel involved revitalizing an historic building and adapting it for use as a 21st century retail-banking environment. The antiquated conditions presented special challenges. Most notable among these were massive marble columns enclosed in sheet rock due to prior damage, unidentified HVAC running through the space to service other areas of the building, and the need to update the space to meet current ADA codes. The final design integrated these elements and accommodated necessary updating seamlessly without compromising function or brand adherence. Mansueto Design’s collaborative, organic, and flexible design process eased the resolution of these issues to allow interior building to resume quickly.
